HOW TO SETUP ARLO APP ACCOUNT

Step One: Downloading and Setting Up the Arlo App
- Though you have to use the Base Station, the setup process is pretty easy and takes about 10 minutes only. To start, download the free Arlo app to your iPhone or Android device from the Appstore or Playstore respectively. Now, open the app and tap the ‘New to Arlo’ button.
- On the next screen, select which Arlo product you’re setting up from the list of options including Arlo Wire-free, Arlo Q, Arlo Q Plus, Arlo Go, Arlo Baby etc.
- The app then instructs you to install the Arlo Base Station hub. For do so, plug one end of the Ethernet cable into the Base Station and the other end into a free Ethernet port on your router. Step Two: Create a Netgear Account
- Once you’re done downloading and setting up the Arlo app, you’ll need to create an account with Netgear by typing your email address.
- Set a name and password for your account and agree to the terms and privacy policy. Hit “Next” at the bottom.
Step Three: Syncing Your Arlo Cameras with the Base Station
- Now, it’s time to sync your Arlo device to the Base Station. You can do just one camera at a time. Also make sure your cameras are kept close to the Base Station during the syncing process. Hit ‘Continue’ in the app.
- Make sure the battery of the camera is installed properly, if not you can do so by opening up the back cover on the camera.
- Press the sync button on top of the Base Station for around two seconds after making sure your camera is ready to function till you notice a green light blinking. Now, press the sync button present on the camera itself until you notice a blue LED light on the front of the camera flashing.
- The Base Station and the camera will automatically connect to each other after both are synced.
